Feedback from other teachers about this verbals activity. . .
This was greatly appreciated by my students. They were happy to exhibit understanding with a coloring sheet, rather than just completing more practice.
Verbals are not a fun topic to teach, but this resource made it fun! My 8th graders had fun coloring their work and were actually quite proud of it when they were done. It was really easy to grade via which colors were with which numbers. I did a mini - lesson to review verbals and then used the other half of class to work on this worksheet. Some got it done in our 48 minute class and most had to take it home for homework.
These are a fun way to practice identifying verbals.
