Description

VegCraze is a board game where you test your nutrition knowledge and race to the finish line to see who will be the healthiest. The person who answers the most questions correctly will have a greater chance to win. On the way you will come up against some challenging food choices. If you land on the wrong space, you might have to go back a few spaces or all the way back to start. On the other hand, you could land on a space with a healthier choice that will move you forward!

*This game has been tested for years with elementary age kids in multiple school districts, Boys & Girls Clubs, and with Scouts. The kids love it!!!

What you’ll need

1. Four players

2. Four game pieces (can be found on amazon)

3. A game board (included in bundle)

4. Deck of nutrition cards (included in bundle - in both Avery and PDF versions)

5. Recipe box to hold the cards with the question facing OUT and answers hidden

6. Printout of rules (included in bundle)

7. Numbered paper to determine which player goes first (included in bundle)

How to play

1. Each player puts their player on the starting square.

2. On four small pieces of paper write numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 and fold them up, toss them around and everyone choose a paper. This will determine who will go first.

3. The person that chose the number 1 will pull out a card, read the question out loud to the group, answer the question out loud to the group, then turn the card over to see if the answer is correct. If it IS correct, the player will move forward the number of places indicated on the card.

5. If you can’t answer the question correctly (or at all), keep the card aside on your square. Now number 2 will go, then 3, 4, then back to one and start over.

6. At the end of a round, the cards can be shuffled again and used for a new game. In case you run out of cards before the game comes to an end, you can shuffle all cards that were answered (or used during the game) and keep on playing.

7. The objective is to reach the finish position and be the healthiest player!
