This fun, original valentine song and double line dance for elementary music is cute and super-easy to learn. Dance moves are outlined in the lyrics, and the short song repeats eight times on the recording to facilitate multiple turns. Recording Length 3:38

Invite students to form two straight, side by side lines facing one another so that each student is facing a partner.

Dance Moves:

Phrase One: Partners lean forward and shake right hands

Phrase Two: Partners step forward, touch hands with one another and step back to original position

Phrase Three: Students wiggle down to squat position, wiggle back to standing position and turn all the way around in place

Phrase Four: Each student steps to the right. Children on the right end of each line will cross to opposite line and turn around to face the new partner.

The dance begins again!
