Description

Get ready for a STEM adventure with Cupid! Students will choose what activities Cupid should do to help others get along. Based on their choices, they will encounter different STEM challenges.

Materials Needed: In addition to candy hearts (conversation hearts work well - check your local dollar store!), you can use the materials you have, but I recommend index cards, tape, string, and plastic bags. You won't need many materials other than the candy hearts for these activities.

What You'll Get

  • Instructions and sample images
  • 12-page story booklet to guide your students through the engineering design process. The adventure storybook will have students complete three STEM challenges (by choosing the path they want the story to follow). One follow up challenge is also provided.
  • Possible STEM Challenges include: tower, maze, unplugged coding activity, parachute, and container. The follow-up challenge includes a bow and arrow challenge.
  • Printable characters
  • Rubric
  • Certificate of completion
  • Cards for optional stations
