Valentine's Day Roll-A-Sentence | Silly Sentence Writing Activity

Are you tired of your students writing simple, boring sentences? Could they use a little help adding details? If so, then this Valentine's Day Roll-A-Sentence Writing Activity is the resource you need! This activity is a silly and festive way to teach your students how to write DETAILED sentences. Students simply must roll a die four times to build a sentence that includes the who, what, where & when... one roll at a time!

For example:

Roll #1 (WHO), student rolls a 4: My best friend

Roll #2 (WHAT), student rolls a 3: ate a whole box of cookies

Roll #3 (WHERE), student rolls a 5: on the playground

Roll #4 (WHEN), student rolls a 1: on Valentine's Day

Completed Sentence: My best friend ate a whole box of cookies on the playground on Valentine's Day!

Students must write 5 detailed sentences in order to complete the activity.
