This reader’s theater can be a challenge and is geared towards 5th grade and up. I recommend reading through it the first time as a whole class.
Then split your class up into groups to read it again. Great for oral reading fluency and/or can be used as a performance script. This reader's theater would be fun to perform for younger grades or book buddies.
**Disclaimer: The Characters' names in this readers theater all mean love in other languages. I like to wait till after we have read through the script to let my students know that. Depending on the level of your students, you may want to share that activity with your students first as a way to support understanding.
