Description
This low prep resource is a great way to help your students review fraction skills while also celebrating Valentine's Day! This resource contains 20 task cards with fun, Valentine's Day themed fraction questions that make a fun math center or whole class math activity. You can also use these cards to play SCOOT.
A student recording sheet and answer key are included. Differentiate these task cards by having students reduce the fractions (or not reduce the fractions).
Many of these Valentine's Day themed fraction task cards incorporate language arts or categorizing skills as well, giving students a chance to practice their fraction skills in a different way.
This resource is ideal for students in 2nd grade, 3rd grade, or 4th grade that have already been introduced to fractions but could benefit from a review. 4th grade students that have a solid understanding of fraction will probably find this very easy. Check the preview to see if the questions are appropriate for your upper elementary students.
