Description

Students often need help with the CCSS RI 4.5 & RI 5.5 ELA standard for Identifying Text Structure. These worksheets are a great way to practice identifying Text structure and assess the standard. The students highlight signal words and then identify the text structures: Description, Chronology or Sequencing, Compare & Contrast, Cause & Effect, Problem & Solution. A differentiation option is included with each worksheet.

This product uses art integration with ELA. There are Valentine's Day-themed doodles to go with each worksheet. The students will identify the text structure from a paragraph and then find their answer on the doodle sheet and then have fun expressing themselves creatively.

No Prep! Just Print and Assign.
