Description

Do your kiddos love coloring pictures for friends? Do they love learning about letters (or are they just getting interested in letters and what they look like)? Do they love to count and point out numbers where ever they go? Or do they love putting things into containers - like toys, candy, paper, stuffed animals, cups, and bowls? I got you covered! I have a fun, simple, and hands on packet chock full of over one hundred pages (yes I said over 100 hundred pages of Valentine goodness) of Valentine goodness for your older toddler and preschooler to help cultivate their love of counting, letters, filling, making things, and soooo much more!!!

This packet includes:

*Math: counting, shapes, one to one correspondence, more or less than, patterns, size recognition, and sorting

*Literacy: letter cover up (finding a letter and covering it up), letter match, and symbols (what letters has lines and what letters don't have lines), pom - pom letter fill, and an emergent reader...

*Fine Motor Skills/Art: Play dough cards, cutting, gluing, painting, tracing, pincer grasp (picking up letter cards or number cards with their fingers and putting them some where or putting a manipulative on an activity mat), coloring, working with pom - pom's and tweezers, posting (putting an object in a small opening, etc.

*Social Emotional Skills: feelings hearts and Bible story

*STEM/Blocks: Block mat

*Like I said earlier in this post, there are over 100 pages of Valentine Goodness.....

*This activity packet is geared for: older toddler and preschooler (but you can easily differentiate this packet to use with a younger toddler or older preschooler)....

*Comes both in color and black and white

I hope you enjoy using this packet (just as much as I had putting it together) with your kiddos either in your classroom or around your kitchen table.......

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
