What educators are saying
This was a lot of fun and was a great way to give my students a little break at the end of the marking period.
This was such a fun actiity! The students enjoyed it, and it seemed to challenge them as well. I feel like they really reinforced their grammar while having fun! It was also an easy activity to prepare. I'll definitely use it again!

Description
Looking for an engaging, rigorous Valentine's Day-themed grammar activity for your students? This Valentines Day escape room is perfect for those days around Feb. 14 — or any time during January or February — when students are full of sugar but still need to learn.
Students will review homophones, punctuation, subject-verb agreement, and vocabulary analogies with these 20 Valentine's Day-themed task cards. Student instruction pages come with and without borders.
❤️ This product is included in my Secondary English Escape Room Bundle .❤️
Your download includes
► 12 sentences for determining correct punctuation about Valentine's Day information and history
► 16 sentences for determining subject-verb agreement about famous couples
► 16 vocabulary analogies with words related to love
► 12 sentences for determining homophones and related words (you're/your/yours; who/whose/who's/whom; etc.)
► one practice task card to model for students how to fill in answer code
► teacher & student instructions for Google and non-Google facilitation
► answer key for codes and secret phrases if teacher-led
► teacher tips page and link to overview instruction video
► four different Google forms with four different secret phrases
Please note: The cards contain sentences related to Valentine's Day, famous couples, break-up letters, and words related to love. The analogies represent the most difficult part of the escape room. Students may require a dictionary.
In the Google-led facilitation (a quicker version), students input answers into a Google Form and are automatically told if their code is correct for each card and awarded a letter toward the secret phrase. There are four different Google forms that receive the same numeric codes but four different “secret phrases.”
In the teacher-led facilitation (a lengthier version), teachers will check answers for students and award letters toward the secret phrase.
