What is Grow Online?
Grow Online is a new line of teaching resources designed to be utilized through electronic devices. Grow Online resources can be accessed through laptops (including Chromebooks), tablets, and desktop computers. They can also be accessed through smartphones. Grow Online resources are perfect for teachers in 1:1 or Bring Your Own Device environments, or for teachers who have a blended learning rotational model set up in their classroom!
Grow Online resources can also be printed and distributed to students the “Old Fashioned” way.
What’s in this Grow Online product?
This product is a set of 5 Valentine-themed critical thinking activities. I have used the activities in my own 3rd grade gifted classroom and they have been a huge success! The kids love utilizing Google Classroom to complete the tasks and enjoy the critical thinking challenges. We use them as morning work, station activities, or as an added enrichment activity throughout the day. They would also work well for small group enrichment!
This product includes directions on how to access the Google document, share it with your students, and score their work. The activities in this product include:
-Word Wisdom: Valentine-related making words activity
-Heart Scramble: Use the clues to place the hearts in the correct space on the grid
-Valentine Hink Pinks
-Flower Shop Fiasco: Use math skills and deductive reasoning to determine who purchased what at the flower shop
- Where in the USA?: Use deductive reasoning to determine where in the United States these love-named towns are located.
