This Valentine's Day speech and language resource targets answering wh questions (reading/listening comprehension), vocabulary and more in a fun and interactive way! Visuals are included throughout to support receptive and expressive language development and can be adapted to meet a variety of student needs.
This activity packet includes a 10-page adapted book as well as BONUS ACTIVITIES targeting answering simple wh- questions (what, where and who).
The adapted book includes 10 different wh- questions as well as visual response choices. The presentation of the wh- question forms is mixed, and includes what, where and who. The response field can be adapted to be anywhere from 1-10 choices to meet any student's needs!
A black-and-white copy of the book is also included!
The BONUS activities incorporate the same vocabulary and target skill (answering simple wh- questions) as the interactive book. These activities can be used both before and after reading the book, and are a great way to reinforce and expand on targeted skills. These are also great take-home activities to encourage home carryover!
