Valentine's Day Activities and Centers for Kindergarten

There are six different centers included, three literacy and three math. Also included are 6 additional no-prep practice pages to reinforce the skills taught in the center. These can be used as remediation, homework, or as an additional center.

-What's in the Middle?: Students will identify the middle vowel sound in a CVC word and record the word on the line. {2 options of recording sheets included}

-We Love CVC Words: Students will say the name of the CVC picture and unscramble the letters to record the word on their paper.

-Super Digraphs: Students will say the name of the picture to identify the beginning digraph and record it on their paper.

-Make Ten, Valentine!: Students will use the ten frame to create an addition sentence equal to ten. {Also includes a challenge level}

-Let's Add, Valentine!: Students will begin counting with the number on the mailbox and then count on to create an addition sentence.

-Colorful Counting: Students will color their recording sheet to match the card, then they will count each color of heart and record the number on their paper.
