VALENTINE'S SPEED DATING

THIS IS A BRILLIANT GAME FOR VALENTINE'S DAY! Tried by many teachers in several countries and students simply love it :) I have played it a lot of times with students of different age categories and it was always great fun. The product includes 10 identity cards for five male and five female players. Each student is given one identity card with information. A teacher can also give students name badges with their new names. Students are given a couple of minutes for identifying with their new identity, and then the game can begin. Women/girls are sitting, whereas men/boys are supposed to walk and spend some time with each woman (around 5-7 minutes for one couple, then men are supposed to change their partner, until each man talks with each woman). During this period, couples are supposed to talk actively and find out some basic information about each other, trying to find who would be the best possible partner for them - with similar interests and preferences. Students can take some notes during the play and at the end everyone should stand next to the person (s)he thinks is the best match for him/her.
