VALENTINE'S DAY FUN FACTS FIND {QR Code Cards, Website Links}

Nothing can enhance research more than QR Code Cards. This pack of 24 QR Code Cards will take your students on a journey of learning. Students will learn all about the history, culture, and tradition of Valentine’s Day. From why and how Valentine’s Day is celebrated to who receives the most Valentine’s Day cards, and why the color red is symbolic. To make this activity accessible to all, website links are also included, in case your school does not have access to I-pads or tablets.

PROCESS
Cut out the 24 QR Code Cards and tape them in areas around your classroom. Students use a QR Code Reader to access each code that contains a link to a website with information targeting the question on each card. Students locate the information and write their responses on the Response Sheet provided. After they have located information for all 24 QR Code Cards, they can check their answers via the QR Code Answer Checker that contains a link to a file in Dropbox or simply use the answer Sheets provided.

For students not using I-pads, print out copies of the Response Sheets that contain links to the websites, alternatively, provide them with a PDF copy of the Response Sheets with clickable links. They record their answers on the Response Sheets. They could still use the task cards for the questions.
