Description
This resource was updated in April 2021, and now includes two Google Forms! Same great video and questions, more value for your money!
The first Google Form begins with a short video to present various visual models to students. The video teaches them how to represent fractions using visual models like circles, triangles, and tape diagrams. The content focuses on 3rd grade standard, and is a nice review for 4th graders.
Then, the student has a chance to put their new knowledge to work with 10 practice problems! The questions are modeled on SBAC released items and are multiple choice and fill in the blank questions. The Google Form will auto-grade everything except the final question, which asks students to notice equivalency. Because it's beyond the standard for this lesson, it's not graded, but helps you know who is ready for that next step!
The second Google Form provides more practice, or makes a great formative assessment. You get 20 questions and 1 great video!
This makes a great lesson for:
1. Flipped classrooms
2. Reteaching/Intervention
3. Review
4. Distance Learning
5. Sub plans
Best of all, it's auto-graded, so you just have to download the results! You can also see student by student responses.
