Description

These activities focus on using commas correctly. Not only do commas need to be used correctly in sentences, but they belong in dates and addresses as well. These activities will help and challenge your students to correctly identify where the commas need to go and how to use commas. You can use them as homework, in-class work, or even working with small groups. All you have to do is print and go!

These will focus on using commas after introductory clauses, items in a series, to separate adjectives, and before a conjunction word, along with dates and addresses.

There are many types of activities to choose from to help your students. I am also a big believer in having students writing sentences. This gives them a chance to see what a correct sentences looks like and they will get used to writing grammatically correct sentences for assignments, essays, and projects.

I believe you and your students will benefit from using these activities/worksheets in your classroom.
