Description
This 28-page power point details how urban legends get started in our society. Students will learn how to identify them and how to research their validity. This power point contains examples of urban legends (school appropriate), lots of pictures, examples and information about how to identify an urban myth.
After showing this power point, I usually ask my students to create and write an urban legend of their own using the guidelines. I also ask students to do a short research project on urban legends using online sources.
