Description
This bundle includes THREE full- length projects. Each include all 8 elements of PBL.
Project-based learning allows for students to engage in solving a real-world problem or answering a complex question. They demonstrate their knowledge and skills by creating a public product or presentation for a real audience. Students have choice throughout the course of the project, including how to show mastery. Students reflect on progress and engage in the feedback process.

Innovation Celebration:
Throughout is project, students will complete the design thinking process to create an invention that solves a problem of their choice. After completing research on an invention throughout history, as well as a scientist profile, students become the inventors themselves! They will use the engineering design process to identify a problem and design and test inventions that help to solve it! Showcase student work by displaying student inventions in the “HALL OF INVENTORS”
Night at the Museum:
Students will work in groups to create an ancient culture museum. They will conduct research about the cultural elements of an ancient civilization of their choice, to include government, economics, technology & innovation, religion & beliefs, architecture, art, writing, and lifestyle. They will design a minimum of three artifacts to describe in their museums to accompany their museum displays. Students will act as museum docents leading tours on museum night.
Passion Project:
Throughout this project, students take a journey of self-discovery to uncover what they are truly passionate about. They also may be able to answer burning questions they have always wondered. Students will brainstorm to draft their own driving question, as well as a project proposal, complete with products of their choice. Students will learn through the process of inquiry, researching and documenting evidence of their learning within a portfolio. Students pursue a project of personal interest.
