What educators are saying

I that this was a short paragraph and picture matching activity. I used it with my special needs students and they were able to easily understand what needed to be done.

Description

This set of sort and match task cards includes 12 U.S. symbols and landmarks. It includes four cards for each United states symbol including one name card, one picture card, and two fact cards. These would be great to review facts, use in matching games such as concentration, or with many of your cooperative learning structures such as mix and group or four corners. A great way to review United States landmarks and symbols for U.S. History and Geography while adding a little fun and student engagement.

The United States symbols and landmarks included are the American Flag, the Bald Eagle, The Great Seal, The United States Capitol, The Liberty Bell, The Statue of Liberty, The Washington Monument, The Jefferson Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Rushmore, and The Gateway Arch.
