Description

Engage your students with these interactive Google Slides/Pear Deck that cover the fundamentals of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This resource includes a BrainPop video (log-in required!) about the Constitution and interactive writing and drawing prompts to help students master the content. Additionally, this lesson features 3 samples of "Do Now" questions and 2 samples of "Closing" tasks to connect the lesson to current events of 2020 or to prompt students to reflect on their own rights.

Mixed-level questions are included to guide instruction, and students will also practice essential ELA skills such as finding and citing text evidence, identifying and applying domain-specific vocabulary, composing clear written responses, and other writing and reading comprehension skills.

This resource is perfect for in-person or remote learning and can be easily uploaded to your learning management system.

Buyer Amy G. says these slides were great for both in-person and remote learning: "We have students out on quarantine and students in the classroom. Making sure they all stay on the same page has been a challenge. I love these resources because the students at home can complete them while we are covering the same information in class."
