Unit Homework Tracker Template
Description
This homework tracker template is something that can be used to keep track of how much of the assigned work a student completes, how frequently that work is completed on time, can be used to identify class trends, and can be paired with "mail merge" to send messages to families to update them on their student.
Simply input your class list and the number of assigned problems into this spreadsheet, and you are ready to go! As a student turns in their assignment, you simply put down the number of problems they completed (the spreadsheet won't let you accidentally put a number higher than was assigned!) and how many days late the assignment was. Then the spreadsheet calculates the percentage of the assigned problems each student has completed, the total number of days late for all assignments, and the average number of days late for the entire unit.
This information can be shared directly with families with the "mail merge" feature in Microsoft Word if you want to send an email, or you can use it to make adjustments to your class if you are noticing class-wide trends.
