Unit 2 Task Assessment Papers and Places

This Assessment is a culminating task for Grade 3 Unit 2 Papers and Places from the Louisiana Course Framework. It is teacher created with the LEAP 2025 Task in mind. It follows the Louisiana Course Framework topics for Unit 2, and the Assessment Guidance. It includes a 6 point rubric for the written response question. It is in a Google Document with the intention of transferring to an online format so it includes a tech enhanced item as well as a Two Part Dependent Question. It covers the topic on The Constitution and the 3 branches of government as well as symbols of the United States. It requires students to use sources to answer different types of questions and make a connection between the 2 ideas. An answer key is included as well as a checklist to help guide students as they answer the written response.

For Louisiana teachers: It assesses Social Studies standards 3.3, 3.10b, 3.11, 3.6c
