"Show, don't tell" how population is distributed in the United States! Put your students' map & critical thinking skills to the test as they analyze a set of maps that, when corroborated, illustrate why population in the United States is distributed the way it is.
Ways to use this product:
- Whole class: display the presentation provided to the class. As a class, discuss and analyze each map while answering the questions on the student worksheet.
- Gallery Walk: display copies of the maps around your classroom or in the hallway. Have students move around to find the information needed to answer the questions.
- Group/pair work: have students work in groups to analyze the maps and discuss their responses.
- Independent work: have students work on the maps individually.
