Description

This listing is for a printable US/American History Timeline Bulletin Board Wall Display. It includes events from the Explorers to Reconstruction. If you need beyond Reconstruction, please check out my other listings. This is super easy to use. Simply print and display. Events are in order and line up easily. You can eliminate any event you do not wish to include. Events are based on what we teach in Georgia in grades 3rd-5th. I have added an editable file that allows you to create matching pages if you need to add additional events to the timeline. Please see the list below of all of the events listed on the timeline.

I use this in my classroom as a wall display that stays up all year long. It is posted above my bulletin boards. I frequently refer to it during my teaching to help students understand how the events relate to one another. It also works well as review materials at the end of the year. My students love reading through the timeline and previewing the events that we will be learning as well as reviewing the time periods we have already studied.

One feature of this timeline is the color-coded centuries. Each century is a different color so students can easily see the different events in each century.
