This product is not endorsed by UFLI Foundations nor is it affiliated in any way. No part of this product copies any material found in the manual. You can find all the resources you need to successfully teach reading for free on the UFLI Foundations website.

This resource was designed to provide foundational reading and phonics skills practice and can be used in conjunction with the UFLI Foundations Explicit and Systematic Phonics Program. It follows the UFLI Scope and Sequence of instruction and is Science of Reading aligned, but can be used to supplement foundational reading skills instruction without using the UFLI program.

Phonics skills are introduced in a systematic order and build upon each other. Lessons incorporate interleaved practice of previously taught skills.

Two lessons are taught per week with Friday used as a progress monitoring day. There are a variety of independent practice pages to choose from for each lesson. Select whichever best suits your students’ needs. Pages may be used for whole group instruction, small group intervention, or additional homework practice.

Please note that this resource does not include explicit heart word practice.
