Types of Reference Books Powerpoint

This powerpoint covers the uses of different reference books. Each slide describes a different reference book and what it is used for. Reference books discussed include: dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, atlas, almanac, newspaper, telephone book, magazine, and how-to-books. The powerpoint can be used as an introduction or review of all the different types of reference books. I also have an assessment posted that can be used to check for students understanding.
