Description
This card sort is perfect for helping students define and identify examples of 12 different types of evidence used by authors to support their claims. I like to print the types, definitions, and examples on 3 different colors of card stock. This clarifies for students the difference between a definition and an example. I usually have students work in pairs or groups of 3. The discussions they have about the types of evidence and other examples they use to compare are excellent.
Page one is the evidence types.
Page two is the evidence definitions.
Page three is the evidence examples.
The cards match by their location on the copy before you cut it up. For example, all of the top right cards match.
