Description

This is a flipbook writing activity to use in conjuction with a textbook or outside research. It goes along with SC Standard 7-1.3 - European Influence in the Americas.

Students will create a flipbook/foldable about the three type of colonies. The paper will need to be folded in half (the long way) and then the top flap can be cut on the dotted lines.

Directions to this project are below:

Summarize the different colonies that were established in the Americans by Spain, France, and England in the mid-1700’s.
Your summary should include a general geographic location where each type of colony was established as well as the countries that set up that specific type of colony.
(5pts for each summary)

Illustrate the colony using colored pencils or crayons on the front cover of the flip book. Be neat. (5 points each)
