What educators are saying

This was a hit in my classroom. My students were learning about theater and how scripts are used. This was an awesome way to incorporate the holiday and the curriculum.

Description

Children love this cute story by Dav Pilkey! Included in this packet:

A Reader's Theater Script (Two scripts--one is black-and-white and the other one is color-coded)

There are roles for four students. Feel free to assign two students to a role, assign a part to a group, assign a section to each student in the class, etc. Do what you need so that this script fits the needs of your class!

Reader labels are also included just in case you'd like to perform this for parents, at an assembly, for the principal, etc.

Story Activities Included in this packet are:

24 Cards with the Number 8 (since there were 8 turkeys!) Cards 1-16 are missing addends, 17-20 are addition, 21-24 are subtraction. A recording sheet is included. You may use these as a scoot activity, in a center, or you may make multiple copies, cut and put in a sandwich baggie along with the recording sheet, and have partners work together to complete the problems (or individual students, too!)
