Description

This resource is a multi-day project based around Truth and Reconciliation between Indigenous Canadians and Settler Canadians. The creation of the final project- a poster- will have your students engage meaningfully with many different Truth and Reconciliation activities such as: land acknowledgment, representation, understanding the impact that the Indian Act continues to make on Indigenous self-determination, the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the 94 Calls to Action, decolonization, and the fight for compensation for the crimes committed during the era of Residential Schools.

In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, 50% of all profits from the sale of this project will be donated to: Canadian Native Friendship Centre (CNFC) BN: 129904447RR0001
