Description
This project challenges upper-level German students to plan a 7 day trip to a German speaking country. Students will spend a bulk of their time collaborating within their groups to make decisions for their travel itinerary. Then, toward the end of the project they will put together a slide presentation of everything they planned. The packet you will receive via google docs has 13 pages total, including....
- An overview of the project
- Table of contents
- Pages set-up for students to fill in information about the trip they are planning (flights, destinations, train + public transportation, budget, daily activities, etc.)
- List of requirements for the presentation
- Standards Based style rubric that is easily customized for your classroom's needs
I personally used this as a way to assess both communication AND cultural competency skills in my own classroom-- but feel free to make whatever changes you'd like to make this project your own!
