Description
In this packet you will find a card sort that will help students practice working with special angles on the unit circle. All of the angles in this packet are given in radians. In this packet, students will work with the sine and cosine of angles in the first quadrant and on the x and y axis.
I have included 6 blue cards that contain the solutions to the card sort. For example, one of the blue cards says √2/2 - one of the green cards and one of the pink cards matches it. There are 8 pink cards and 8 green cards that match to the blue cards.
I have found that students need a lot of practice with this material. The unit circle may seem overwhelming until some patterns are noticed. Continued practice and memorization is necessary, especially for students who plan to take calculus.
An answer key is included.
