I give an assignment on the material so students can use the majority of class time experiencing and mastering problems on their own. I aim for 10-20 minutes of notes and the rest of the class on the assignment. This lesson tends to take longer due to the difficulty of the material. I provide time for entrance and exit tickets additional to the lesson and notes.

My students are behind in math skills and have time and time again flunked out of previous math classes or have been expelled. I aim to use short concise notes to get students back on track and build up their math skills.
