What educators are saying

My first graders absolutely love the yum yum games! This game is engaging and fun-they especially found the yum yum sounds funny!
This is a great review activity for my 1st graders who are learning about lines and spaces. They love the creatures and the noises they make.

Description

Looking for an elementary music activity that reinforces reading notes on the treble clef? Reinforcing if a pitch is in a space or on a line has just become fun and exciting with this digital resource via tablets, on your internet browser or using PowerPoint!

Excellent for whole group instruction, music centers, music sub tub or online instruction!

The product contains 15 student interactive slides. Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will look at the note on the staff determining if the note is on a line or in a space then select the candy with the correct word (line or space). They will know immediately without leaving the page if they are correct or if they need to read it again. Listen to their laughter when small furry monsters appear and scurry to eat the candy - Yum Yums.

A QR Code is also included. Print or project the pdf flyer so students can easily scan and play the game.

An excellent observation tool to see which students might be struggling with the concept.
