Do your students crave real world experiences? Do you want to use project based learning in your classroom?
This activity is great for students to learn basic budgeting opportunities in a real life application. Students will be asked to act as travel agents. Students will be tasked with planning a vacation for the Smith Family. Students will receive a message from the Smith Family detailing their preferences. With that information, students will research the details all while staying within a budget!
Students will take that information and research possible destinations, transportation, accommodations, and activities/entertainment.
Students will need access to the internet in order to conduct the research for this project. Students will love this opportunity! This project can be completed individually or as a group.
