Are you looking for 100 Day Activities for Social Studies? This pocket chart activity and whole group timeline is HGSS aligned for 1st grade. These authentic real life pictures will help your students become familiar with the development in the different modes of transportation past and present.

The pocket chart picture cards have simple sentences on the back that your 1st grade students can read to share out to the class. The cards can be sorted several ways. The timeline is big enough to be used whole group. You could put in order by land, then sea, then air, or do them all together.
