Description
This bundle has mess-free folding notes with key terms, examples, and practice problems for each of the four transformations on a coordinate plane: translations, reflections, rotations, and dilations. These are perfect for interactive notebooks and so easy to make! Simply print front/back and fold. Glue into notebooks or have students use the folded pamphlets as a study guide.
Each set has scaffolded notes where students can fill in the blanks or with the words in bubble letters so students can color in the key words. All sets include color and black and white copies as well as an answer key.

CCSS8.G.A.1
Verify experimentally the properties of rotations, reflections, and translations:
CCSS8.G.A.1a
Lines are taken to lines, and line segments to line segments of the same length.
CCSS8.G.A.1b
Angles are taken to angles of the same measure.
CCSS8.G.A.1c
Parallel lines are taken to parallel lines.
CCSS8.G.A.2
Understand that a two-dimensional figure is congruent to another if the second can be obtained from the first by a sequence of rotations, reflections, and translations; given two congruent figures, describe a sequence that exhibits the congruence between them.
