Training Students to Welcome New Students

It's hard to be the "new kid". Students transfer into our school every day. As a counselor, the time simply isn't there to do much more than check credits and create a new schedule for the transfer students. Using a student leader or student ambassador is one way to connect a new student with a seasoned student to show them around the school. This guide helps train the student guides on what to say and how to make the new student feel more comfortable about their first day.
