What educators are saying

My students really enjoyed using this resource. It was very helpful and a great addition to our lesson.
One of my favorite stories and this was a great way to apply the idea and check their understanding of the book. I paired it with mud cups for a snack with different veggies on top and buried underneath....my students still talk about that book party two years later!

Description

Fantastic assessment activity!

Students will cut and sort pictures of vegetables as to whether they grow above ground or below ground.

Can be used for a gardening unit and goes great with the book "Tops and Bottoms" by Janet Stevens. The third grade Journeys reading series uses this book and this sort is a great supplement.
