Tonal Worsksheet Lesson

These are all the resources for a lesson I use to introduce tone to my year 7s. It includes with a Powerpoint, a template and a worksheet that guide students through the lesson. Students begin by writing the learning objective which is on the worksheet and there's a space on the the template for it. The first activity is to create tones in the tonal title using a range of tonal techniques. The second activity is to match the tones in the tonal bar chart. The third activity is to use tone to make an object look 3-dimensional by wrapping clearly differentiated tones around to create a sphere. Higher level students can use clearer blending and contour lines to further suggest 3-dimensionality.
