Time Capsule Writing Dear Future Me Letter Editable Template End of School Year

Description: This letter template is the perfect end or beginning of year writing activity. Students can fill in the blanks, seal it up, and open it the following year or even a few years down the road to see how much they've changed. For extra fun, pair this with a time capsule craft where students can "bury" their writing to open years down the road.

This set includes:

• 2 letter templates with blanks for students to fill in (one with "____ grade" and one with just "________" where you can insert kindergarten/pre-k, etc if an adult is scribing onto this template for littles.
• 1 letter template with lines only so students can write their own letter
• 1 blank template for the teacher to type their own letter template onto or for students to use to type their own unique letter.

Please Note: This document comes as a PowerPoint and PDF. The PowerPoint is where you will find the editable version. The letter itself is not editable; however, additional slides are included so you can type your own letter template onto the paper (see preview video for details). If you choose to type your own, please know that my fonts are not included. The paper heading is secured in the background and will be in my font, but the letter itself will be typed using a font you already have on your computer/program.

Printing Instructions

Once you go to File>Print, choose your printer settings. Please note: if you choose fit to printable area, dimensions will be slightly smaller than what is listed.

This is a digital download (you will not receive a physical item) and will be available upon receipt of payment. It will print on a standard 8.5x11in sheet of paper.

Colors may vary due to differences in screens and brightness.
