What educators are saying
This resource guided me with how to help my students create poetry that was unique and personal for each person. It proved to be a fabulous poetry writing lesson.
Description
Three Prompts for Poetry encourages students to write their own poetry based on three exercises. In addition, this lesson includes a simple approach to dramatizing original poetry with students. Music is added to provide atmosphere, to support the actors, and to engage an audience. This lesson is a wonderful opportunity to include language arts, theater, and music in one lesson.
