What educators are saying

Fun reading resource and very engaging. Students had a lot of fun reading with their classmates. Thanks!

Description

This Reader's Theater is based on the cute Thanksgiving book by Lucille Colandro called There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey!

Students are sure to have fun with this while increasing their reading skills at the same time!

There are roles for four students, but please feel free to change as needed. You might assign two students to a role, assign a line to each person in the class, etc. Do what you need so that this script best fits the needs of your class.

Headbands/necklaces are included just in case you'd like to present this to the parents, the class next door, the principal, at an assembly, etc.

A color-coded copy is included for your convenience.
