Engage your students ALL WEEK with resources to celebrate Earth Day and build a community of Earth Heroes. You may choose to complete all five lessons throughout the week, or select individual lessons that best meet the needs in your classroom!

What is a Themed Literature Kit (Lit Kit)?

Each kit is designed as a complete guide that includes everything you’ll need to engage your students in a week of learning, centered around a fun and engaging theme! The lessons promote connections between nonfiction and fiction literature. Each kit includes lesson plans, activities, anchor chart kits, crafts, and more! All kits are core-aligned to standards in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade. You’ll find that there’s so many differentiated options included in each kit, allowing you to select the activities that best meet the needs of your students!

How can I implement these activities into my classroom?

You may choose to teach the lessons in a whole group or small group setting. The printable activities can be completed whole class, individually in centers, as partner-work during work time, or within small groups! The variety of differentiated options also allows you provide a similar task to students at various reading levels that will best fit individual learning abilities.
