Description
In the first theme activity, students will watch 14 different animated movie clips and determine the theme of each clip. In the second activity, students will watch 7 short films, form a list of thematic topics for each film, and then turn one of the topics into a thematic statement for each film. In both activities, students will have to cite evidence from the movie clips or short films that proves their themes.
The movie clips and short films are hyperlinked within the assignment and within the teacher's copy so a YouTube link for EVERY clip and short film is provided for you!! An answer key is also provided. These are great to use all at once or one at a time as starters for the beginning of class.
