Description
An easy, fun activity for students to get creative & plan their own musical musical based off of their favorite movie or book, while you're away from the classroom! This is a lesson plan suitable for Middle or High School students & is an easy project to have on hand in case of emergencies.
Students will research individually online which of their favorite movies/books have not already been made into a musical & then will answer 10 long answer questions about who would star in the musical, what genre it would be & why, would there be any differences between the original story & your musical, etc. Students can then share their answers to the questions with their classmates!
