What educators are saying

I used this for small group "book club" for my GT 1st grade class. They really enjoy the book and this response packet was perfect
This was a great book study to use with 1-2 grade Gifted classes. My students found the book fun and engaging. The questions were a great way to recap the chapters and sections.

Description

This 26 page novel study covers Kevin Henkes' newest book, The Year of Billy Miller. My students adored the book and this fun reading response pack!

The book begins with Billy Miller preparing for second grade, so it's the perfect back to school novel study. My favorite part is at the end of Chapter 1 when Billy's dad tells him that instead of the year of the rabbit it will be "The Year of Billy Miller". I make a point of going around the circle and telling each student that it is "The Year of (insert name)" and their year to shine.
