The Writing Revolution Task Cards BUNDLE

Like many other Montessorians, I have fallen in love with The Hochman Method but have struggled to incorporate it into my Upper-Elementary Montessori environment. I created my own task cards to solve the problem!

These cards are designed based on The Writing Revolution's tried and true practice activities and can lay the foundation for strong sentence construction and high quality writing. I have tried to keep the sentence work topical to my classroom and region (New Orleans, LA) and to interweave multiple curricular areas throughout, as recommended by the method.

This product is a bundle of all my current task card sets (6 products in all). Buy them all together here for a discount! There is no answer key yet, but I may add one later or can create for an additional charge.

I recommend printing onto colored cardstock and laminating before cutting each sheet into cards, using a different color for each card set. I store them on my language shelf in a wooden display box with tabbed dividers announcing the topic of each card set. Students receive an introductory lesson on each set based on The Hochman Method and then set a goal of a certain number of sentences or cards to complete over a certain number of days. These sets would make great addition to writing stations in traditional classrooms as well. This work has added a richness to my writing instruction, and I'm so excited to share it with others!
