Description

This fun cut and paste activity will really help you assess your child's knowledge on The Water Cycle! I have designed it to be on larger paper for easier labeling and coloring. The page size is legal landscape or 14 x 8.5 so please make sure you have that paper size before printing!
I have included the following stages in the activity:
evaporation
condensation
precipitation
accumulation/collection
surface run off
transpiration
You can see from the preview that the cycle starts on the far right and circles around counter clockwise. Transpiration, the loss of water vapor through plants, is added at the far left. I always felt it was important to include that in the water cycle even in 1st grade. This is a very basic picture of the water cycle and is meant for grades 1-3, although in some cases it might be too easy for 3rd graders. Have the kids color and add extra labels if necessary, the paper is large enough! Have fun with this and thanks for stopping by!
